Between living in dorms and being at school with over 6,000 students, it’s inevitable that we’re all a little more likely to get sick being in college. Of course, it’s never convenient to get sick, but it’s especially worse as midterms season approaches. That being said, here are some common stages we’ve all gone through when it comes to getting sick at school:

1.      Getting annoyed when the guy next to you in class keeps sniffling

Time to take a sick day. Seriously.

2.      Noticing the next day that your throat is sore

3.      Feeling paranoid about coming into contact with other people

4.      Drinking borderline unhealthy amounts of the orange juice in the DUC

5.      Panicking when your roommate texts you that she’s feeling kind of nauseous

Break out the Lysol—time to wipe everything down!

6.      Becoming that kid who sniffles through class

I am so, so sorry. I really am.

7.      Finally accepting your fate and laying in bed all day

Snooze your alarm and get better—sometimes rest is all you need!
