7 Amazing Makeup Products Under $10

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emory chapter.

We all know what it’s like when you find that one perfect makeup product. You know, the one you’ve been searching for that takes your makeup game to the next level and gives you that little something extra. Sometimes, that product comes with a hefty price tag, but it doesn’t always have to! Here are seven makeup products that I have fallen in love with not only because they work so well but also because the price is right.

1. e.l.f Moisturizing Lipsticks

These lipsticks are wonderful—they come in a wide range of colors, last for hours, hydrate your lips instead of drying them out, and only cost $3 each. What more could you ask for from a lipstick?

I love this stuff. I have oily skin, and I need a powder that is going to keep my skin under control all day without making my face look cakey. This powder does the trick and comes in at just under $4.

These brushes are a staple in my makeup bag, especially their face brushes and sponge. They’re so high-quality, affordable, and user-friendly that when I do try out more expensive brushes, I almost always end up preferring my Real Techniques ones. Almost all of their brushes in their original line are under $10 and will last you years.

4. e.l.f. Powder Blush Palettes

Honestly, the people over at e.l.f. have stolen my heart with their wonderful and budget-friendly products. These blushes are no different. You get 4 highly-pigmented blushes (almost too pigmented, so use a light-hand) per palette for only six. dollars. each. They have a light palette and a dark palette, so you can pick out the one that is supposed to work best for your skin tone. Or you can get both. (Get both.)

I stayed away from false eyelashes for years because I just knew I would never be able to get them on right. I knew I would end up with one hanging off the corner of my eye or with the band showing on my eyelid—for me, I only saw false eyelashes ending in disaster. Luckily, I found these lashes by Ardell. They have so many different styles to suit whatever look you are going for and are super easy to apply. Get their starter kit that comes with 2 sets of lashes, glue, and an applicator for only $5.99.
