Fuller House

If you didn’t have a crush on Uncle Jesse, repeatedly steal Michelle’s catchphrase, “You got it dude!” or secretly wish neat-freak Danny Tanner was your dad, were you really a true Full House fan?  Thankfully, we no longer have to rely on re-runs because several members of the old gang are back at it, two decades later, in the Netflix original series Fuller House.  Though nothing can touch the original sitcom, this sequel is definitely worth a watch.

Jane The Virgin

A personal favorite, this telenovela-style show is the perfect recipe: equal parts comedy, drama, and romance.  Main character Jane Villanueva, a virgin, gets accidentally artificially inseminated and ends up pregnant…but that’s just the beginning.  The story gets more complicated with each episode, and the constant plot twists will keep you on your toes.  Lucky for us, season 1 is available on Netflix and season 2 can be found on the CW website, so you don’t have to wait weeks to see what loco things happen next.

Scandal

If you like thrillers, political dramas, crazy romance, and strong female characters, this show will definitely be your jam.  Olivia Pope, played by the incredible Kerry Washington, runs a crisis-management firm but can’t seem to stay away from the crisis that is her ex-job and ex-lover at the White House.  Covering topics like abortion and assassination, this fast-paced show is heavy and powerful.  Check out seasons 1-4 on Netflix—you won’t regret it.

Friends

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’re probably well aware that Friends is one of the greatest shows to have ever graced our TV screens.  The sitcom follows six 20-somethings living in Manhattan as they go through life and search for love together.  If you plan on spending some quality time with your couch this spring break and haven’t seen the show yet (or have), all 10 seasons are available on Netflix for your viewing pleasure.  It’s completely binge-worthy; you’ve been warned.

Gossip Girl

Who doesn’t love to live vicariously through the socialites of the Upper East Side?  Dramatic, sexy, and oh-so-scandalous, this show will not disappoint.  With a rockstar cast of Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, and others, Gossip Girl is a step up from the tween book series the show is based on.  Additionally, if you’re into fashion, this is definitely the show for you.  Head to Netflix for all 6 seasons.

Happy binge-watching!
