5 Reasons Nick Viall Would Get My Final Rose

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emory chapter.

Nick Viall is one of the most controversial bachelors in the history of The Bachelor: some people love him, while others hate him. While Nick has his flaws, he has certainly stolen the hearts of many Bachelor fans, including mine. Here are my top five reasons why:

1. He is super close with his family.

Throughout his time on The Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise, and The Bachelor, Nick has shown how much he values his family and their opinion by keeping them involved on every step of his journey. Coming from a family as large as his (he has 10 siblings!), that is quite the feat.

2. He’s great with kids. Just look at him and his little sister, Bella!

Speaking of Nick’s family, he has an adorable relationship with his younger sister, Bella. Even with their 25-year age difference (Nick is 36, while Bella is 11), Nick is very close to Bella and seems to put a lot of stock in her opinion about the women he’s dating. Nick’s Instagram is also filled with pictures of him and his nieces and nephews. So precious!

3. He gives great advice.

As anyone who watched Bachelor in Paradise this summer can tell you this: Nick was everyone’s go-to-guy for A+ romantic guidance. While it might’ve been more useful to him to spend more time trying to understand his own love life than those of the other contestants, he had some pretty terrific words of wisdom for his friends on the show. Nick’s charismatic and honest advice was what made him so darn likeable to viewers, and, truthfully, it was probably the reason he earned his spot as the bachelor this season.

4. He’s just a little bit attractive.

Okay, way more than a little bit. I think this one speaks for itself.

5. He’s quite adorkable.

Whether he’s mumbling incoherently about his feelings or imitating a dinosaur to make his date laugh, Nick Viall never fails to make his viewers smile.

Never change, Nick. Never change.
