4 Places to Take Your Family during Graduation Weekend

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emory chapter.

Graduation weekend is quickly coming upon us, and when your family gets into town, it’s nice to have a couple family-friendly activities lined up to do together. Here are a few of my favorites.

1. Ponce City Market/The Beltline

Ponce City Market and the Beltline are a great way to spend an afternoon with your family. You can shop, enjoy the sunshine and art along the Beltline, and eat at one of the many restaurants in the Food Hall. There are so many things to do and places to eat that everyone in your family is sure to find something they will enjoy.

2. Krog St. Market

If your family is more food- and beer-orientated, then Krog St. Market might be the better option! It’s similar to Ponce City Market but tends to be less crowded.

3. The Botanical Gardens Source: http://atlantabg.org/content/5-about-us/1-news-blogs/4-exhibition-highli…

If the weather is nice, check out the Botanical Gardens! The beautiful flowers, fountains, and sculptures are sure to make for a great day in Atlanta.

4. Little Five Points

If you want a bit more of an edgy vibe, Little Five Points is the perfect place. Along with the quirky restaurants and cute thrift shops, you never know who you’ll catch performing on the street. With such a hodgepodge of things to do, there’s something for everyone!

Enjoy these sites, and happy graduation weekend!
