2015 Brand Collaborations to Look Forward To

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emory chapter.

These days it’s all about brand collaboration.  Remember Missoni for Target or Alexander Wang for H&M?  Brand collaborations are great because they make it so much easier to get a piece from your favorite designers at a fraction of the price.  There is so much to look forward to in the next year with upcoming brand collaborations.  Which one are you most looking forward to?

Lily Pulitzer for Target: Your favorite purveyor of bright prints and preppy goods is hitting your local Target’s shelves on April 19.  The collection, which features 15 exclusive prints, includes everything from clothing to housewares.  Everything in the line will be under $150 with 200 items priced under $30. Current Elliot and Oldnavy: Emily Current and Merritt Elliott of the popular denim line Current/Elliot are teaming up with Oldnavy, for a unique partnership.  While they won’t be creating a collection for the brand, they’ll be working as Style Ambassadors.  What this means is they’ll be styling Oldnavy’s clothes, working with bloggers to promote the collections, and revamping the look of the store.  Get prepared to experience Oldnavy like never before. Rebecca Minkoff For Essie: Brand collaborations aren’t only limited to clothing.  Designer Rebecca Minkoff is now Essie’s new global color designer.  As part of this role, she’s launching several collections with the nail polish brand. Her first Spring 2015 collection, Flowerista, will be available in March.  The line features 6 bright hues. Image here.
