5 Shows to Binge Watch on Netflix After Fall Midterms

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emerson chapter.

1. Riverdale

With only one season on Netflix, this is a show you can binge over a day or two, and then be done. Plus if you watch it soon, you can then try to catch up on the first few episodes of season 2 and then watch it on the CW every Wednesday! If you’re interested in murder mysteries, a dark take on the Archie comics, or in seeing one half of the Sprouse twins all grown up, definitely check it out!

2. Charmed

If you have a bit more time, and you’re interested in starting an early 2000s classic after your midterms, why not pick up Charmed? When you mix sisters, magic, and comedy, it’s hard to go wrong.

3. The Magicians

For anyone who’s still waiting for your Hogwarts letter, this show could be the one for you. A grad student finds out that magic is real, and he gets to study it! So if you’re in the mood to watch a show with magic that’s a bit more serious, this show could be for you. As of now, only the first season is on Netflix, but here’s hoping season 2 will be added by the end of the year!

4. American Horror Story

As each season works as a standalone, you can either watch it through or cherry-pick which seasons you watch. It’s the perfect show to get your spooky on, and maybe you can pick up some costume inspo from the show too if you don’t know what you’re wearing for Halloween yet.

5. Stranger Things

With the premiere of the second season just around the corner, this is the perfect show to binge once you’re finally done with all of your midterm exams, projects, and papers. Kick back and watch the first season for the first time or re-watch it before you get sucked into season two!
