Summer is here, and collegiettes everywhere are looking forward to a little downtime! Whether you’re spending your time traveling, working or laying out on the beach, here are five great books to unwind with this summer!

Prodigal Summer – Barbara Kingsolver

If you love a good mix of romance, humor and inspiration, Prodigal Summer is a perfect choice for you! Set in a small town over the course of one summer, Kingsolver writes about three intertwining stories of love and loss in a truly magical way.

The Glass Castle – Jeannette Walls

If you prefer a good real-life story, check out Jeannette Walls’ memoir The Glass Castle. The novel chronicles Walls’ amazing, crazy life and journey from poverty to affluence. You’ll be rooting for her from the first page!

Wild Cheryl Strayed

If this is your summer of self-discovery, you can probably relate to Strayed’s book Wild. Set on the Pacific Crest Trail, the book is filled with literal and figurative twists and turns. Perhaps it’s just the adventure you need!

Me Before You – Jojo Moyes
