It’s stressful being a college student with no money and no time. As winter term passes, it’s cover letter and resume time. Most of the time, students are unaware of where to start, and don’t have the time to go looking for opportunities on top of their spring course work. Thanks to WayUp you don’t have to worry about that anymore!

This semester, Jessie Brown, a junior at Elon University, became the campus representative of WayUp. WayUp is the new way for college students to find jobs, internships and other opportunities, all in one place. The site is extremely user-friendly because you are able to set your desired work location. All you need to do is create your own profile, which gives you space to include your interests, experience and resume. After that, the WayUp website will put together a list of opportunities tailored to you. Some examples of opportunities include jobs at Starbucks, Camus Representative positions and even internships at Adobe.

Feeling inspired? Some people may decide they want to be a campus representative of WayUp too! Jessie Brown, she thought that WayUp was incredibly resourceful and wanted to inform others about this amazing resource that college students don’t realize exists and how easy it is to use.

It only takes 30 seconds out of your day to sign up, and after verifying your account, you can start job hunting! Jessie Brown says, “It’s such a helpful website where students can find out about jobs and internships that they might not otherwise hear about.” Everyone should sign up, because who doesn’t love new experiences?
