This time last year, I had no clue where I wanted to go to college. I knew it would be a huge decision I had to make on my own. I made a list of pros and cons of the different universities I was accepted into and really sat and thought about the tours I went on. But while I was doing that, I still had one more tour to go on…ECU. I will admit, I used to judge ECU when I did not know anything about it but everything changed as soon as I stepped foot onto campus.

I found myself smiling while in the pouring rain on tour, wanting to know more about the campus and wanting to see all ECU had to offer. I learned more and more about my major, clubs and activites that I would participate in and I felt a certain way when I was on campus.

When I was on campus I felt comfortable, free and excited. That’s when I knew this would be my home for the next four years. Deciding to go to ECU was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
