Oh baby, drunk in love we be all night,” Beyoncé sings in her song Drunk In Love. However, a study is here to try and prove Beyoncé wrong. According to a study published in the  Journals of Gerontology: Psychology Sciences  you and your baby can be drunk in love FOREVER.

According to a Reuters report researches said that after surveying nearly 3,000 couples that had been married for an average of 33 years, they found that couples who drank together were better off than those marriages where only one partner drank. While husbands tended to drink more than their wives the study found that if the wife was the soul drinker she was more likely to be dissatisfied with the marriage than the husband. They reported that couples who both sustained from drinking had less marital problems than those where one partner consumed alcohol.

“We’re not suggesting that people should drink more or change the way they drink,” study author Dr. Kira Birditt of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor told Reuters Health. “We’re not sure why this is happening, but it could be that couples that do more leisure time activities together have better marital quality.”

Rather or not alcohol does play a role in the success of a relationship it’s still a great way to have a jolly ole’ time with bae so CHEERS to that!
