Sometimes life can get a little stressful and it’s hard to remember to take a step back. So here are some self care tips for when you just need a moment to relax.

1. Go for a walk

This is super simple and is a great way for you to just clear your head. Take a walk around campus or go for a hike. Fresh air always helps!

2. Get your favorite food

It’s always comforting when you can eat your favorite food and I often find myself following this tip.

3. Pamper yourself

A great way to relax is using a facemask! Put one on, play your favorite music while you wait for it to work, and feel your stress melt away.

4. Talk to your friends

Sometimes the best way to deal with stress is to vent. So grab a friend who will listen and give yourself five minutes to get everything out. Just talking about a problem can alleviate some of the stress.

5. Dance it out

Taking a cue from my favorite show, Grey’s Anatomy, have a dance party! Blast your favorite song and dance out of all your stress. You always have time for a 30-second dance party!
