Five Ways to Transfer into University Smoothly

  1. Try to get along with your roommates.

I know every living situation is not ideal, but if you think you have a chance to build a relationship DO IT. You never know they might be your lifelong friends, your future bridesmaid. When fist meeting them try and get to one another, you might have more in common than you think.

  1. Get to know your professors.

Knowing your professors is something all students should do. You never know when you might need a recommendation letter. Allow your professor to see your face and know who you are. Just think of it as networking, you never know who knows who.

  1. Join Clubs

Joining clubs is a great way to meet new people. It’s also a way to get away from work and having a little fun. It’s also a great to get more involved with your major, and you gain experience that might be useful.

  1. Use Resources Given to You

Every University has a place where there are people there to help you, take advantage of the programs offered to you. Use the tutors if your struggling in a certain class, your paying for them why not use it.

  1. Relax

Being a college student isn’t always easy, sometimes there is never enough time in a day. You should still take the time to get enough to sleep and eat healthy. Make sure you are going to bed at a decent time, so you can be rejuvenated. Just remember to put your first, without you at your best how do you expect to do your best.
