We now live in a world that requires you to have past experience. Like college wasn’t hard enough now I need an unpaid internship, that I’ll probably hate. However, even though most internships are unpaid most give college credit and/or a stipend. The great thing about internships is that it can lead to a full time job. If you are like me and many others who do not know where to start, here is a list of websites that provide great internship opportunities.

1. http://www.internships.com/

Create a profile, and get help in making sure your profile is good enough to start sending to companies. After you are done with your profile, go through the list of internships and just hit send. Whether you want an unpaid or paid internship, it’s all available for you to choose from.

2. http://www.fastweb.com/

Not only a great way to get scholarships but this website finds the best matches of internships for you. They email you daily to remind you to apply.

3.http://fashionista.com/fashion-careers

For students who not only love fashion but photography, magazines and marketing, this is the place to go. So many opportunities to work for fashion designers, creative teams, PR firms and many more.

4.http://www.experience.com/entry-level-jobs/internships/

Like many websites, experience.com gives you resume tips, interview tips, and helps you with cover letters. All to prepare you for the listing of internships on the website.

5. https://www.internqueen.com/

To all my creative people that are tired of hearing “you need more experience”, go to internqueen.com now. Created by a former intern who knew the struggle, she is making it her mission to supply internships to people who really want it.

Do not read this and go about your day. Make sure you take time out of your less than busy day to check out these websites.
