Maybelline Fit-Me Pressed Powder ($5)

This stuff is my holy grail. People ask me daily what foundation I use, and they are always shocked to discover I don’t use foundation, I use this (with concealer as well). It covers everything you want it to, and you can choose your coverage AKA “heavy” or “light.” Once I discovered this years ago, I have never gone back to anything. It is super affordable and never go a day without it (I prefer the Matte/Poreless one).

Physicians Formula Bronzer ($15)

This bronzer is perfect for every day. It comes in a multicolored palette ranging in different shades that way I can always match it to my skin and the areas I am contouring with it. As you want a darker contour to enhance your cheekbones, I prefer a lighter one for my forehead and nose. It is very versatile and in comparison, to most bronzers it is a good price and lasts awhile!

Maybelline Colossal Mascara ($8)

Make sure it is the waterproof version and this mascara is going NOWHERE. The curved wand gives your lashes the perfect volume and lift, with no clumps. I seriously LOVE this mascara so much. I have tried others, high quality ones, and I always come back to this one. It perfectly opens up your eyes. I usually pair it with the Covergirl white primer mascara ($6) if you want even more lift and color.

L’Oreal Paris Pencil Eyeliner ($8)

This is the perfect everyday eyeliner and fairly easy to use, even for beginners! For more glam looks I love a liquid eyeliner. However, the thick pencil makes it super easy to create a smudged look (the formula blends and smudges so easily compared to others I have tried). Quickly line the top and blend it out (that way mistakes are no biggie!). Makes your lash line look fuller and the smudge look, creates a natural, everyday eye look. Also lasts forever!

Nyx Setting Spray ($8)

If you try one thing off this list, TRY THIS. This is my holy grail product. A setting spray to top your makeup off with is essential, so if you are not using one–– get this! By far the best setting spray I have ever tried, again more than any high end one, which costs $40 – $60 sometimes. A setting spray helps keep your makeup in place (as the makeup that STAYS on my face for 12-14 hours a day through all seasons, weather, and activities), but also helps blend everything together in the end. Think of it like you put all these ingredients on your face and the setting spray is how you *cook* them all together. Even if you are a girl who wears only mascara and maybe blush, YOU NEED A SETTING SPRAY. You’re welcome. (They have both matte and dewy finishes–– I have more oily prone skin so the matte one works best for me).
