This is the inside of the Chicago Public Library, Chinatown Branch. I have always loved glass buildings so I decided to visit this one on a Saturday afternoon. It is one of the smallest libraries I’ve ever been to and certainly the loudest. On that day, there was live music on the first floor as well as the Children’s section that was crowded with kids shrieking with joy. This is definitely not the kind of library you go to if you need to get a lot done but the atmosphere was very lively and unique. And of course, it was beautiful with all the windows. It is the perfect place to go if you just want some time away from campus. The library is right across the street from the Cermak-Chinatown Red Line stop. Go check it out!
