It seems like everyone has started a new hobby or gotten back into an old habit recently. Well, I’ve spent this quarantine catching up on some books! My Pinterest board is full of books I’ve wanted to read for years. If you wish to develop a new skill or change the way you approach tasks, I have made a list of my favorite reads that will absolutely change the way you think!

Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking by Malcolm Gladwell

A powerful book that teaches you to rely on your intuition. I recommend this book to anyone who struggles with making decisions. Gladwell writes about making split-second decisions and using human nature to your advantage!

Talk Like Ted by Carmine Gallo

A must-read if you want to learn how to be an exceptional speaker. Learn storytelling tips as examined by Carmine Hallo through hundreds of Ted Talk speakers. I was shocked to find out how much effort goes into preparing for a big presentation!

This is Marketing by Seth Godin

Today, in the age of technology, marketing is a necessary tool for everyone. Gain insights about different tactics companies use to reel you in, and learn how to market yourself. An excellent book for beginners, I was blown away at how many marketing tools have been used on me. After reading this book, you will never see another advertisement the same way again!

Rich Dad Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not! by Robert T. Kiyosaki

An engaging and practical way of viewing money. If your New Years’ resolution was to gain financial literacy, this is the book to start reading. I never thought I’d say a book about finance would be interesting, but this book was excellent! It’s essential to recognize that this book contains a lot of strong opinions about financial situations.
