Alright. I, Kate Voigt, am going to attempt the impossible- I am going to narrow down my love for Lush into a list of five items. And none of them will be bath bombs. I know! I know- the level of controversy in that statement alone is mind-blowing, but the whole list would be bath bombs if I included them. Lush makes amazing bath bombs. But we’re not here to talk about bath bombs. We’re here to talk about the Top Five Best Lush Products- in no particular order.

  1. Dirty Springwash-

A minty and deeply refreshing shower experience. I LOVE this stuff. It’s a beautiful aquatic blue color that wakes me up every time I use it. It’s amazing after a workout and makes me feel a whole new level of clean.

  1. Sleepy Lotion-

I would describe this stuff as a purple miracle. I cannot explain how, but when I put this lotion on my arms and legs, it helps me sleep. It’s likely the super relaxing lavender scent, which is just a bonus aspect of this already not greasy lotion.100% would recommend as a melatonin-free sleep aid.*

  1. Breath of Fresh Air Facial Toner-

If you’ve been following my articles, you would know my skin care journey has been full of nonsense. I used to think you just needed to wash and dry your face, and you’d be acne free forever. Sadly, my face needs a little more care than that. I found this toner water that is super light and smells so clean, which I just love, and the lack of intense fragrance in the product makes it easier on sensitive skin.

  1. Rock Star Soap-

It’s SO PINK! I love this soap. This bubblegum-color bar smells like vanilla and feels super sweet on your skin. I personally love it as more of a flirty date-night smell. I really like it, but the strong vanilla vibes may deter some people.

  1. Roots-

This is a hair mask sent from the heavens. It’s got a similar scent palate to Dirty Springwash, but instead of just refreshing your body, it refreshes your scalp and head. If you’ve got fine/thin hair, this is the mask for you. It tingles your hair back to life and feels good while doing it.

So that’s it! Instructions of how to use/where to purchase these products are available on Lush.com (not sponsored in any way, although that would be SO NICE.) I recommend these products to anyone, as they all are organic and not tested on animals. Next time the fragrant siren song of Lush calls you, pick one up!

**I am not a sleep doctor or any type of doctor. If melatonin works for you, keep taking it. Also, I might just be super susceptible to lavender. Do not look to a random college girl for sleep-aid advice. Actually, don’t go to a college kid for anything sleep related. We can’t balance that ourselves, so why should we be able to understand it in others?  All Images from Lush.com or Pexles. None belong to me.
