Fashion Influencers You Might want to follow

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Dalhousie chapter.

Finding your style can be hard and overwhelming. Now that fashion is one of the ways that we express ourselves, it can be tough to pick an outfit that screams YOU. Gen Z as a generation has made the concept of fashion ethical, comfortable and presentable. Here is a list of fashion influencers from our generation that you might want to follow to build your closet and get outfit inspirations for any and every occasion.

  1. Ruby Lyn – @rubylyn_

A born and raised Canadian who started off with YouTube, is now known for her simple yet unique fashion content. Most of her clothing items can be found in an average person’s closet which makes it so much easier to derive inspiration from her well executed outfits.

2. Yolande Macon – @thelanguageofyolande

Nobody does colour better than Yolande. She effortlessly incorporates colour in New York chic. Whenever I am in the mood for some colour, I always run to her page for inspiration.

3. Edie Rose – @edielibertyrose

An English model that started working in fashion as a child is now one of the most sought after fashion influencers that people admire. She gives her followers an insight of the boujee model lifestyle and often posts pictures of her outfits that I personally draw inspiration from.

4. Kirtisha – @banksnohilary

Kirtisha is one of the few people that I started following in my red hair phase but soon realized that they have a great eye for fashion. Be it street-style or fancy outfits, Kirtisha never fails to impress.

5. Elyanna Banes Sanchez – @ellebaness

If I know anyone that does eccentric grunge best, I will say their name. Even though most of their outfits are out there, there are definitely options for some of us that love to stand to recreate and dress wildly.

6. Shereen Mohammad – @shereenmuhmmad

I was drawn by her elegant and clean girl aesthetic and have been following her ever since. Her ethereal minimalist vibe is easy to capture in your own day to day style.

7. Lauren Chan -@lcchan

Besides being an editor and writer for fashion magazines like Vogue, Glamour Mag and many more, Lauren has great style and I often find myself stealing some elegant looks from her feed.
