Over the past few years, I’ve tried many different acne treatments, and have only found a few that actually work. This past week, I had some serious hormonal acne and decided to try the Alba Botanica Pimple Patches that were included in our Survival Kit. My roommate also decided to try them out and she found that, because she has sensitive skin, the patches left a red circle around the pimple that she put the patch on. So, moral of the story is, don’t use these patches if you have sensitive skin. But, I found that these patches helped reduce inflammation and redness from the pimple itself. I myself dry-combination skin and found that these patches created some extra dryness around the pimple itself, but I’ve found with past pimple-reducing products that it’s pretty normal for that to happen.

I would recommend this product only for people who have pretty resiliant skin. And if you’re allergic to tea tree oil, STAY AWAY because it’s one of the main ingredients in this product.
