There’s nothing more enjoyable than sitting down with my paints, playing Spotify on my speaker, and watching an Architectural Digest (AD) video. As I was scrolling on YouTube, I was graced with a new AD video from the queen herself, miss Emma Chamberlain. For the past few weeks, vague ads of a new project have appeared on her Instagram, as well as on AD’s socials. Today, Chamberlain’s collaboration dropped on West Elm’s website and needless to say, it’s everything I wanted it to be.
When Chamberlain’s first Open Door house tour came out in 2022, her new house was so characteristically her, that it has solidified itself as one of my favorite AD tours. Within her design of her house, she worked with the designers, Ashley Drost and Marie Trohman, from the interiors firm Proem. Moving from her rental into her new house at the time, she remarked how she hadn’t used the space or many aspects of it, something that is largely different from now.
Her calming bedroom, father’s paintings, and eclectic designs spoke to her personality and brought light into her space. I remember being so jealous of her record player set up and her beautiful green kitchen. She made the space her own, and has continued to personalize it through blending her interests with the pieces in her collaboration with West Elm.

West Elm — owned by William Sonoma Inc — was founded in 2002 in Brooklyn, New York. Known for its mid-century modern designs and colors, this partnership pulls inspiration from the ‘60s and ‘70s, and includes personal touches of Chamberlain’s interests throughout the designs. The collaboration includes a number of dark wood pieces, button covered accessories, and pigeon themed kitchenware. Whether it’s a new piece of furniture for your house, or an accessor to go on top of a table, here are just a few of my favorites from the collection.
Emma Chamberlain Pigeon Collection ($19.50- $139)
Chamberlain makes it no secret that she loves pigeons. On her YouTube channel and on her podcast, Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain, she comments that pigeons are one of her favorite birds. On West Elm’s website, she is quoted saying that, “most of the things in this collection are tattooed somewhere on my body. They’re a part of me.” The small tattoo of the pigeon on her wrist has been extended to a number of clay, pigeon shaped pieces.
As someone who wears glasses, as soon as I saw the pigeon glasses holder, I submitted, I caved, and I bought it almost immediately. As someone who wears jewelry, I feel as though there are many different types of jewelry stands, but there aren’t many creative eyeglass holders that I’ve seen. After creating an eyewear line with Warby Parker, this was an obvious and genius choice for her.
Emma Chamberlain Marble Nesting Coffee Tables (18″–32″) ($1,198)
There’s nothing that brings a room together like a nice table. Watching Open Door videos, one of my favorite objects to look out for are the living room and kitchen tables. There are so many options that are both personal to the owner, but that are also very functional. Although I don’t have anywhere to currently furnish, when I saw the marble nesting coffee tables, I wished I had an apartment to decorate.
Pairing a larger and smaller coffee table together, the design allows you to place the tables in whatever way works best for your space. Although they are circular, they are not perfectly round. They opted for a natural curve, so it looks as though the cut came directly from a tree stump. This design concept is extended by the wood having two different tones. This duo has the impact of being a larger statement piece in the center of a room, or two functional tables placed around your home.

Buttons are another symbol that appear throughout the collection. In some of her YouTube videos, Chamberlain has created sewing projects. She notes in her video made with love, that when she went to pick up the fabric, she also got to hand select buttons. On both of these button covered pieces, there is an array of reds, greens, and neutral colors.
When decorating a space, both of these can fit because you can pair different colors. When I bought the pillow, I knew it would blend into the largely green space I was putting it into. However, if you had a space that was largely neutral, these could act as statement pieces that bring color into the room.
Emma Chamberlain Curved Bar Cabinet (28″) ($1,099)
To me, dark wood is incredibly chic, and can make tables, cabinets, and dressers timeless. This bar cabinet is one of my favorite pieces of furniture from the collection. Its red detailing and ample shelving is thoughtfully designed and beautiful on the inside. If you’re someone who likes to host, or just someone who likes to have ample space for glasses and other items, this may be the cabinet for you.
These pieces are colorful and fun, with not only having personal ties to Chamberlain, but enough individuality to pair with others’ personal styles. Whether you’re looking for a cabinet, pillows, or a way to have pigeons indoors, Emma Chamberlain’s collaboration with West Elm has what you’re looking for — especially if you’re looking for pigeon themed items.
