Coastal is full of opportunities and organizations that allow you to get involved on Campus. Whether you are a freshman, transfer, or upper-class student getting involved is crucial to create connections and stay busy. Here are some of the many ways you can get more active in the Coastal community.

  1. Go to Organization Kickoff Day. Don’t worry, even if you missed OK day this past fall, Spring semester will give you another chance. OK day displays the majority of Coastal’s clubs and Organizations on Prince Lawn ranging from Student Government to the Hammock Club to HerCampus and is a great way to meet former members and learn more information. Use this link to learn more about student life: https://www.coastal.edu/osl/!
  2. Visit Coastal Connections. Here you can find a list of all Coastal’s clubs and organizations. You can also find the contact information of club members, meeting information, and upcoming events they are having. Don’t be afraid to reach out, here’s the link: https://coastal.campuslabs.com/engage/organizations!
  3. Join an Intramural Team here at Coastal; you don’t have to be on the school or club team to be an athlete. Intramurals have sports for everyone including floor hockey, beach volleyball, and dodge ball. Grab some friends and create a team! https://www.coastal.edu/recreation/intramuralsports/
  4. Go Greek! Coastal Carolina has over 20 social Greek organizations as well as professional ones including business and honors. If the sorority/fraternity life is calling your name there is still time to go through recruitment this fall or some will even let you rush in the spring. Learn more below! https://www.coastal.edu/osl/greek/
  5. Get an on-campus job. What better way to get involved than to get paid while doing it? On-Campus jobs allow you to meet people and also look good on resumes. You can tutor, work at the library, be a peer mentor, and many more. Click here for openings!  https://www.coastal.edu/hreo/employment/
