Chocolate Covered Pretzels

These guys are oh-so-cute and are perfect for college students. They take virtually no time, literally all you do is melt colored chocolate, decorate them with sprinkles, and let them dry. Check out the full process here.

Valentine’s Day Popcorn

Who says that this recipe is just for kids? Sure, it’s on a kid site, but believe me when I say that sometimes it’s good to relive the days being a kid… Yah know, no bills, exams, or other stuff… It’s also a very simple recipe; you do need an oven though, so that the marshmallows can melt, but that’s about it. The full recipe is here, so check it out!

Pink Hot Chocolate

Oreo Heart Truffles

These are definitely time-consuming, but oh-so-worth it. Basically, you have to combine cream cheese and Oreo crumbles, let them freeze to harden. Afterwards, you cut them with a heart-shaped cookie cutter, dip them in melted white chocolate, and then you put them in the freezer again to finish hardening. While the truffles are hardening, you can definitely work on your senior sem paper or even look up some awesome places to go on a Valentine’s date. Check out the full recipe to find out exactly how to make these!.

Valentine Blondies

These are a great alternative to truffles, cookies, cupcakes, and brownies! I like to think of blondies as a cross between a chocolate chip cookie and a brownie, not as chocolate-y as a brownie but a thicker consistency than a cookie. These blondies are great, but definitely require a stovetop and an oven — and they take the longest to make. But, if you have the time and want to impress your friends/boyfriend/girlfriend, these are an awesome option! Take a look at the full recipe and ingredients needed before making a pitstop at Harris Teeter or Target for your goods.
