It’s finally the fall time and we couldn’t be happier. Those caramel brown booties you’ve been hiding at the back of your closet are about to make a reappearance! Let’s not forget about those warm, limited edition Starbucks drinks that we need to get our hands on. If you’re having a tough week of exams, be assured that this season will be on your side. Here are five things you have to look forward to this fall!

1. Cool Weather

When we arrived to campus in the beginning of the year, we were immediately hit by the blazing sun and the swarms of gnats on Library Bridge. The revolting smell of sweat in the air is definitely not the best atmosphere.

With the fall weather kicking in, we no longer have to worry about sweating gallons and staying as hydrated. It’s a relief to walk to class with just the right amount of wind blowing in your face. Automatically, the cool weather will make things around you seem more peaceful and blissful.

2. Football Games

Being a Clemson student, football games are the first thing on a student’s mind when they enter Tigertown. Especially coming out of a national championship, we’ve all the more reason to be excited for this football season. We’re currently on a roll with a 6-0 game streak with great chances of making a reappearance at the natty!

Even if you can’t stand the cold, this is definitely one reason for you to enjoy and look forward to fall.

3. Comfy/Fashionable Clothes

What’s better than that cute burgundy tank top you wore in the summer? A comfy beige cardigan to go over it! We also can’t forget those cute combat boots to complete your outfit. It’s the perfect time to look fashionable and be comfy AT THE SAME TIME, a concept unknown to the other seasons.

4. Beautiful Campus

If you’ve never seen the Clemson campus during the fall time, you’re in for a treat! The changing colors on the trees in front of the reflection pond are definitely a view to cherish. It may even make your walk to class seem less resentful than usual.

5. Holiday Season

Lastly, fall is the time to finally look forward to the lineup of holiday seasons that await us! Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas are back to back and it’s time to stuff our faces with little to no guilt AT ALL. Even if you don’t celebrate these holidays, you can for sure look forward to the continuous breaks you’ll be getting from college! You just MIGHT spend more time at home then in the library, but no promises.
