Halloween This Year Is Going to Get A Little… Stranger

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Clemson chapter.

Yes, I know there will be tons of parties, exams and school assignments before Halloween. But, let’s be real, one of the most anticipated TV shows on Netflix is releasing its second season FOUR DAYS BEFORE HALLOWEEN! That’s only 22 days away! Strange right? If you’re not picking up what I’m putting down, let me give you a few hints:

1. The main character’s name is a number that falls between ten and twelve

2. Some of the most precious stars from season one will be back

3. The second season is guaranteed to hold even stranger things than the first

That’s right ladies…STRANGER THINGS SEASON TWO WILL BE RELEASED ON OCTOBER 27TH!

If you haven’t checked out season one on Netflix yet, don’t worry. Long story short, this Netflix original begins when mysterious disappearances began to occur in Hawkins, Indiana during the early 1980’s. While trying to find their missing friend, a group of boys discover a young escapee, a secret government facility, a previously unknown, demented world and many other strange things. If you’re interested in watching season one before the release date, it only has eight episodes that are around 50 minutes each. Basically, it only takes one dedicated Netflix binge and you’ll be able to finish the season easily (trust me, it’s that addicting). I mean, I guess you could always watch the new season on another day, but what’s going to put you in the Halloween spirit more than this?

No matter what you do on Halloween, stay safe and just remember, don’t be a mouth breather!
