4 Things to Look Forward to During Finals Week

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Clark chapter.

As finals week approaches, you may be feeling like this:

But even as scary and daunting as finals are, finals week is also one of the best weeks all semester. Why? Because there are a bunch of events to look forward to that only come around at this time of year. Check out our top picks for must-do activities that will make your finals week the best it can be!

1. RHA Nom Noms

Ok, who doesn’t love grilled cheese?! RHA basically saves the day when you’re studying so hard that you forget to eat until you realize you’re about to pass out from starvation. At those times, there’s nothing better than getting a warm, gooey grilled cheese delivered right to your study area. This year, there are tons of options allowing you to make your own custom grilled cheese! Think Panera bread, bacon and even vegan cheese. To place your order well in advance, simply fill out the order form here.

2. Midnight Breakfast

This year’s midnight breakfast will be held on Tuesday, December 8th from 11pm to 12:30am. You do not want to miss this full spread of pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage and all sorts of other goodies served up by faculty and administrators. You know you’ll be up late anyway, so why not grab some friends and take a study break over breakfast? Even if you live off campus, you can still attend for free!

3. Doggie Playtime

This is the ultimate way to de-stress during finals! It’s always a treat to hang out with the furry friends that visit campus during finals, so don’t miss out. The pups will be on campus on Tuesday, December 8th and Wednesday, December 9th from 5pm to 7pm both days. Go visit these little fluff balls and their caretakers from PAWS for People in Atwood Hall!

4. End of Semester Shows

As the semester wraps up, a bunch of performance groups on campus are having their last shows of the season. Catch CMT’s production of Company from December 2nd to the 5th, or head to the Shenanigans! show on Saturday, December 5th. If you really want to have some fun, The Peapod Squad and Shenanigans! are co-hosting an open improv session on Sunday, December 6th. This is sure to be filled with lots of laughs and you’ll definitely leave feeling de-stressed and ready to ace all of your finals.

What finals week event are you looking forward to the most, Collegiettes?
