In celebration of Valentine’s Day, I have created three different playlists along with my friends and family to capture the various moods people might be experiencing. We believe that love should be celebrated regardless of whether you have a Valentine or not. In fact, why limit ourselves to just Valentines Day when we can continue celebrating after. You can enjoy the month by listening to the following beautiful songs with friends or even by yourself.

Our first playlist, “To love & be loved,” touches on how it feels to be in a healthy, happy relationship. I’ve picked out a few songs that generate feelings almost identical to how it feels to look at the person you love and know that there is no other person you’d rather live your life with.

1. Angel- Finneas

2. I Only Have Eyes For You- The Flamingos

3. Forever- Ar’mon and Trey

4. Can’t Wait- Doja Cat

5. Earthquake- Tyler, The Creator

6. The Perfect Pair -beadoobee

7. latch- Sam Smith

8. Can I Call You Rose – Thee Sacred Souls

9. All Mine – Kali Uchis

10. You Don’t Know My Name – Alicia Keys

11. Spin Bout U- Drake & 21

12. Golden Hour- JKVE

13. Lotus Flowerbomb- Wale (FT.Miguel)

14. Adorn- Miguel

15. All I Want is You- Miguel

16. glue song- beadoobee

17. Let it Burn- Jasmine Sullivan

Our second playlist, “Lovesick,” emphasizes being in love but in a slower tone for those who don’t enjoy the fast beats and high pitches.

1. Comfortable- H.E.R.

2. In A Good Way- Faye Webster

3. Easily- Bruno Major

4. Feeling U Feeling Me- Alicia Keys

5. He Loves Me- Jill Scott

6. Infrunami- Steve Lacy

7. Like A Tattoo- Sade

8. Glued- Melanie Martinez

9. Girl With The Tattoo- Miguel

10. Coffee- Miguel

11. Harem -Miguel

12. Superpower- Beyonce (ft. Frank Ocean)

Lastly, we have “Oh, this can’t be life,” a melodramatic playlist that targets the crowd that maybe just isn’t feeling the love, which is totally fine. Here are a few songs that might help, whether you’re going through a breakup, in a confusing situationship, or just struggling to find love.

1. Training Wheels- Melanie Martinez

2. Give You The World- Steve Lacy

3. Japanese Denim- Daniel Ceasar

4. Halleys Comet- Billie Eilish

5. Awkward- SZA

6. Is It A Crime- Sade

7. Needy- Ariana Grande

8. Special- SZA

9. Tread Carefully-SZA

10. Hopelessly Devoted- Olivia Newton-John

11. Glimpse of Us- Joji’

I hope you all enjoy these playlists no matter how you are feeling about love!
