How to Survive Winter Finals

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chatham chapter.
Finals week is no cakewalk—especially when it’s winter finals. Not only are you buys worrying about your grades, but you’re also probably on the brink of sickness—unless you’re already bedridden. It may seem bleak, but you can make it through! Just follow our guide!

1. Make sure to eat
So often, when we get busy and overwhelmed during finals, we can forget to take care of ourselves. But it should be a top priority! And what a better place to recharge at than Chipotle? I mean, it’s Chipotle. Need we say more?

2. Hydrate
Get a great water bottle like this Sorel bottle and keep yourself hydrated! With the weather getting cold, you might pass on water in favor of hotter, heartier drinks, but make sure you’re getting the proper amount of water everyday so you don’t end up dehydrated and ill!

3. Take your medicine
It’s winter. Don’t be dumb. Don’t think a cold will just pass. Take care of yourself and take medicine if you start to feel a cold coming on. Cold-Eeze will have you on the go in no time—especially with their easily transportable QuickMelts!

4. Take care of your skin
You’re already trying to remember to take care of your insides, so it can be easy to forget to take care of your exterior as well. However, you never have to worry about your skin when you’re using Proactiv skin care products. It’s a quick routine you can fit into every day—even during finals week!

5. Keep warm
Bundle up! You don’t want to catch your death of cold! To stay especially warm, grab one of these Vera Bradley throw blankets! But listen up collegiettes, we have an important announcement: WE ARE GIVING AWAY THIS BLANKET! Yup! You heard us right. A FREE VERA BRADLEY BLANKET. So what do you have to do to win? Make a post on Twitter saying how you’re going to take care of yourself during finals week before 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16 and tag us @HCChathamU. You must be following us on Twitter to be eligible to win.

Good luck, collegiettes! We have our fingers crossed for you!
