Brown Eyes

Eleanor Davis Student Contributor, University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill
This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chapel Hill chapter and does not reflect the views of Her Campus.

You complain they’re plain, calling mine light and flames.

Your eyes though make mine dim because of their vain design.

I look at yours and I see a forest so deep and selfless,

While mine are just for the beholder.

I see myself reflected in your eyes as you tell me you love me.

To only have me on your mind rings true in your eyes,

and I feel self-absorbed for loving those eyes.

I always want your eyes on me

To see me forever in your arms

Where I should be.
