Being able to dance is a talent. Not many people can do a two step, some people are born with two left feet. But being able to professionally dance is a gift and to watch people dance is another sight. Along with many genres of movie one being dance film. There are so many movies about dancing, but I only chose three. Many of you readers might know all three! That’s great, and some may see one they’ve never heard. Each story has a different theme and all plots are different that’s why I chose Breakin’ (1984), Honey (2003) and You Got Served (2004).

Breakin’ (1984)

Yes this movie came out 35 years go! Bare with me! I was introduced to this movie by my father. It’s a great movie for something that came out so long ago. Kelly (Lucinda Dickey) is a traditionally prepared jazz artist who’s sick of warding off her desirous educator and hungry for another outlet. At the point when she becomes a close acquaintance with road artists Ozone (Adolfo “Shabba-Doo” Quinones) and Turbo (Michael “Boogaloo Shrimp” Chambers), she’s overwhelmed by their one of a kind and unique moves. She before long volunteers to enable them to vanquish an adversary gathering of road artists, learning break-moving aptitudes en route and sharing her very own few moves.

For every movie I’m going to leave a link to my favorite dance scene from the movie here’s like one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEoaN9qIxFs

Honey (2003)

Everybody knows Honey, the movie isn’t 20 years old yet, but when it does in 2023; it will be considered a Classic. This movie came out early in the 2000’s and the movie was fantastic from start to finish. Honey Daniels is a 22-year-old, hip-hop dancer in New York’s East Harlem who fantasies about becoming showbiz royalty as a music video choreographer. She teaches hip-hop dancing at a neighborhood youth focus and urges the nearby children to take care of keeping them off the streets. At the point when karma sparkles on Honey as an acclaimed music video executive, named Michael, who throws her in one music video, she’s urged to make the progress from artist to choreographer. In any case, Honey’s unexpected achievement accompanies a cost when Michael will not take “no” for a solution to his lewd gestures and after that attempts to undermine her vocation by repudiating her out of the business.

Honestly the opening dance scene is great but we know there’s great dancing throughout the whole movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPGHQb4f0z0

You Got Served (2004)

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t know this movie. This movie is one of the greatest dancing movies not only when it comes to the actually dancing but also the plot of the movie. David (Omarion Grandberry) and Elgin (Marques Houston) helm a talented street-dancing crew that engages in dance battles in a Los Angeles warehouse belonging to local club owner Mr. Rad (Steve Harvey). When Orange County rich kid Wade (Christopher Jones) challenges David and Elgin to compete against his dancers for $5,000, they accept. As David and Elgin labor to perfect their moves for the competition, tensions within the crew threaten their chances of success.

Now there’s a lot of dancing scenes I love from this movie, wish I could choose more than one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaFumSTEKTI

These movies are great and must watch! There are plenty of other Dance flick but these are the top 3.
