Every season, each Her Campus chapter is gifted with some of the hottest products to test out and review. This winter, Her Campus CAU received products within various industries, such as beauty, hygiene, and DIY. At the very beginning of our winter break, we’ve had the absolute pleasure of reviewing these products just to give you all the 411 on what’s hot and what’s not.
XOXO LUV Perfume
Fruity and easily accessible, what could be better? This perfume is pocket-sized and perfect for on the go touch ups. I personally have stored it in my purses and coat pockets for easy accessibility. A gift like this is great for the holidays or for yourself in the name of self-care.
Krazy Glue
Another pocket-sized favorite of ours. These little packs of krazy glue are perfect for DIYs. Winter break is the perfect time to dive into craftsmanship with good ole krazy glue. Outside of that, the product is great to keep on standby for easy fixes like a broken heel.
The Diva Cup
This product has been all the rave on various media platforms for months now. The Diva Cup is a menstrual cycle product that is a natural and reusable substitute for pads and tampons. It’s better for the environment and arguably better for the overall health of your vagina as the diva cup does not contain harsh chemicals that are in cotton period products.
While I personally have not used these, for preference reasons, I definitely appreciate the nature of the product and I encourage others who typically use tampons to experiment with the switch.
Buxom Plump Lips
Who doesn’t love a nice plump lip? The Buxom brand offers a variety of lip colors and formulas, both matte and gloss, that offer full coverage. In addition to the quality of the product, it assists in volumizing the appearance of your lips with a minor tingling sensation to provide a nice plump lip.
Alba Botanica Pimple Patches
Products like these save my life! For those with acne prone skin, this product is essential. The Alba Botanica patches serve as a noninvasive pimple popper. Placing these patches over nearly ready to pop pimples saves the time, and the mess, regarding popping them. These are some of the best go tos regarding skin care, especially during the holidays, when you just can’t afford a blemish.
