In November 2019, Harry Styles announced his sophomore solo album Fine Line and later the Love on Tour, which would happen throughout 2020, but with the pandemic, it was postponed to September 2021. The whole tour had 169 concerts and promoted his second as well as his third album, Harry’s House, which was released in May of 2022.

As said by Harry, the tour created a special place for everyone to be who they are and express themselves in Harry’s House – the name of the album, but also how the fans called the places where the concerts happened. And one of the most amazing things was the way people dressed up for the shows, with references to his clothes and songs.

During the length of the tour, Styles accomplished lots of things, he appeared as Eros/Starfox, brother of Thanos, on the credits of Eternals, launched his beauty products brand Pleasing; headlined Coachella, won two Grammys with his album Harry’s House, and starred two films. Let’s see more about those!

Harryween

In October of 2021, Harry did a two-day special Halloween concert with costumes like Dorothy of The Wizard of Oz and a Pierrot clown at Madison Square Garden – where he performed, in September of 2022, 15 shows straight with a full house. Besides that, on October 31, 2022, in Los Angeles, he dressed as Danny Zuko from the classic Grease and also covered “Hopelessly Devoted to You”.

Movies

In 2022, the singer starred with Florence Pugh the thriller Don’t Worry Darling and with Emma Corin – the actress that portrayed Princess Diana, on the fourth season of The Crown – the movie adaptation of My Policeman. So, during the tour, he also did the press from the movies.

Grammys

Harry Styles performed and won the Grammys in 2021 and 2023, both during the tour and with his two later albums, he won the categories Best Pop Solo Performance with Watermelon Sugar and Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album with his third album Harry’s House. Worth mentioning that the victory caused controversy due to his acceptance speech.

Coachella

He was the headline of Coachella 2022. During the festival, he did incredible performances of his biggest hits and sang “Boyfriends” and “Late Night Talking” as a surprise before the release of his third album. Harry also brought special guests such as Shania Twain and Lizzo.

PS: he looked amazing on both shows.

Brazil

Yes, I’ll make a whole topic about Brazil! At the end of 2022, he performed six shows in Brazil in three different cities: Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba. He had the most amazing interactions ever, talking about things that he learned here, like “pão de queijo” and the word “raba” – that means butt – and sang “Fine Line” in the rain (I was there and cried during the whole song). PS: he also ripped his pants at one of the shows.

Interaction with fans

One of the most expected moments by fans is the interaction with the audience, whether reading posters or making gender reveals on the stage. One of the best moments was when he paused the concert to let a pregnant fan use the bathroom and later helped her choose the baby’s name.

These are just a few of the magical things that happened during LOT. Everyone who has experienced it can say that it is one of the best memories you will ever have because you get to know new people and be in a place where you can be your full self, dance, sing, cry, and scream the songs.

PS: The post he made thanking everyone was heart whelming and translates everything that the tour represents.
