After two long years of waiting, fans are finally filling up their agendas with international concert dates. We know it might be overwhelming to see the events being announced all at once, so here’s a guide to help you organize your calendar — you don’t want to miss out on these amazing experiences.

Louis TOMLINSON

Ex-One Direction member Louis Tomlinson will be performing in Rio de Janeiro, at Jeunesse Arena, on May 27th, and in São Paulo, at Espaço das Américas, on May 28th and 29th. The concerts were supposed to happen in 2020, but, due to the pandemic, they had to be postponed. Tickets were available at Livepass, but the event sold out in a short period of time.

After the boyband announced a hiatus in 2015 — which led to a non-declared breakup —, Louis invested in his solo career. Even though he took a break to deal with personal measures, his first studio album, Walls, was released in 2020, with hits such as “Miss You” and “Two of Us”.

Khalid

With hits like “American Teen” and “Young Dumb & Broke”, Khalid is an American singer who rose to fame with his hit single “Location”, released in 2017, while he was still finishing high school. Now, he has four studio albums, from which he collects more than six RIAA platinum certifications.

The signer will be performing in Brazil for the second time in São Paulo, at Espaço das Américas, on June 23th, and in Rio de Janeiro, at Jeunesse Arena, on June 25th. The concerts are now sold out. In a previous passage through Brazil, Khalid performed at Lollapalooza in 2018, where he gathered new fans who didn’t know him yet.

Avril Lavigne

It’s 2022 and emo is back on the trends. Avril Lavigne, even with a 20-year-old career, has never left the charts. Singles such as “Sk8ter Boy”, “Complicated”, and “What The Hell” mark the singer’s early career. Now, she’s back with her newest album “Love Sux”, which includes the hit single “Bite Me”.

Both early and new-arrived fans can experience seeing the artist live in São Paulo, at Espaço das Américas, on September 7th. Tickets were sold on May 16th at Eventim, and they were over in minutes. Also, Avril will be performing in Brazil’s traditional festival Rock In Rio, on September 9th. Even though tickets are sold out, the concert will be broadcasted nationally by Multishow.

COLDPLAY

With seven dates confirmed in Brazil, Coldplay returns to the country after almost five years, and fans are already fighting for tickets, which sold out in minutes, even with a bunch of extra dates added to the band’s schedule. They are one of the headliners of Rock in Rio, with a performance that will happen on September 10th. After that, Coldplay returns the following month for the Music of the Spheres tour. On October 11th and 12th, the band plays the Nilton Santos Engenhão stadium in Rio de Janeiro. After that, on October 15th, 16th, 18th, and 19th, the concerts take place in Allianz Parque, in São Paulo.

With hits such as “Paradise”, “A Sky Full of Stars”, and “The Scientist”, the band is a global hit. Their career is already 26 years old and granted them 7 Grammys, including Song of The Year for “Viva La Vida”, in 2009. The Music of the Spheres is their eighth tour and will include the famous colorful LED wristbands, which lighten up the venues and make the night even more magical for fans.

aRCTIC mONKEYS

With hits such as “Do I Wanna Know?” and “505”, Arctic Monkeys is an English rock band formed in 2002. One of their most famous albums, “AM”, was released in 2013 and the band, which was already famous, exploded on the charts, becoming one of the most influential indie bands of that time.

After a brief passage through the country in 2019, for Lollapalooza, Arctic Monkeys will be back in Brazil. The band is the headliner of Brazilian Primavera Sound, which is happening on November 5th, in São Paulo. Also, they will be having two solo performances on November 4th, at Jeunesse Arena, Rio de Janeiro, and on November 8th, at Pedreira Paulo Leminski in Curitiba. Those solo events will be joined by the famous alternative-rock band Interpol, making fans even more excited about the concerts. Tickets are still available at Eventim — go get them while they’re hot.

Harry styles

Another ex-One Direction will be coming to Brazil this year: Harry Styles is the most famous out of the five former band members. In 2021, the singer won a Grammy for his hit “Watermelon Sugar”, which was elected Best Pop Solo Performance. Known for innovative gender-breaking actions, Harry sings about self-knowledge and love in all its forms. This May 20th, he’s releasing his third solo studio album “Harry’s House”, and fans can’t wait to see what the English singer will bring to the table this time.

“Harry Styles: Love On Tour” will be coming to three cities in Brazil in 2022. Starting with São Paulo, on December 6th, the concert takes place at Allianz Parque. Then, the tour follows to Rio de Janeiro, on December 8th, in Jeunesse Arena. Harry’s passage through Brazil ends in Curitiba, on December 10th, at Pedreira Paulo Leminski.

Tickets sold out in a few minutes too, and fans can’t wait to see what Harry’s first time in Brazil as a solo artist will be like.
