25 Things Every Girl Born in the 90s Already Experienced

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Casper Libero chapter.

If you were lucky enough to have born in the 90s, you must remember those things…

1. The virtual pets you needed to care and feed

…and you’ve always forgotten, so you killed a lot of them.

2. The glowing stars, moons and others items you glued on the roof

…you probably liked to spend some time just admiring your own sky.

3. You liked to play Totally Spies! with your friends

…that always came with a fight, because everyone wanted to be Sam!

4. You had patience to rewind cassette tape to watch all your favorite movies

…and now you don’t even have patience to watch the trailers before the film.

5. You played Can-can (not Uno)

… and lost a lot of friends because of the 4+ card.

6. You bought snacks because of the tattoos that came with it

…that doesn’t mean you didn’t eat all of it (in 30 minutes)

7. You already had Yakult in your lunch box

…the smell was terrible and the stain is still there.

8. You collected Gogos

…the first edition, not all those little one they sell now!

9. You also collected letter-papers

…and hated the fact that it only had 5 envelopes for 15 or 20 pages.

10. The computer was only used to play CD-ROM games (from Barbie to The Sims)

…you didn’t have cellphone and you rarely used the telephone to call your friends.

11. You used to eat those lollipops you dipped in sugar

…and you didn’t even care about calories.

12. You spent hours setting up all the Polly’s accessories and when everything was ready no one wanted to play anymore.

…and how could I not mention all those lost shoes and ripped clothes!

13. You already won this rainbow coil on a Festa Junina

…and broke it on the same day!

14. Tandy was the best toothpaste, specially in Tutti Frutti flavor

…besides being an incentive to brush our teeth.

15. You watched Zapping Zone on the best period

…which had Lizzie McGuire, That’s so Raven and The Suite Life on Deck.

16. Odd Parents made you wish to have your own fairly godparents

…and you still do!

17.You already played water bladder’s war

…because there wasn’t a swimming pool.

18. You planted bean on the cotton

…in a plastic cup of course!

19. And you know Sandy & Junior, Rouge, Kelly Key’s songs…

O que é imortaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal

20.  During break, there was a hula hoop time

…and you didn’t understand how your friends could handle that on their hips for more than 10 seconds!

21. Wireless phone (telefone sem fio) was a classic game with the whole class

…and there was always someone who changed what you’ve said just for the message get wrong to the last person.

22. That friend(s) who had Fedorentos (Smelly)

…and every time they could, they spread them on us!

23. This was your consumers dream

…that’s all, there’s nothing else to say, just feel…

24. You could maybe do 2 items from Art Attack

… “It’s really easy, you only need a guava red, size 0.68 pen, 5 different glitter glue collors…”

25. You always tell children that your childhood was the best

…and they don’t listen to you, because they are too busy on their cellphones, Ipads…

Cheers to our childhood! And, specially, for those who never lost their kid side!

Now, I’ll probably try to find my Monopolly, Clue, Guess Who?,  and call my friends and to remember the good old days…
