My Top 5 Beauty Products

  1. Tower 28 SOS Rescue Spray

I am not exaggerating when I say that this product has changed my life, but more importantly, my skin. The Tower 28 SOS Spray has become my new favorite product. I have only had it for a few weeks, but I have never felt my skin feel so refreshed. I put this on right after I wash my face in both the morning and the evening, and all you need is a couple of spritzes.

Tip: Let this dry on your face before applying any other skincare products!

  1. OUAI Body Crème

I have always been an avid lotion hater—call me weird, I don’t care—until I found the OUAI Body Crème, and I will never buy another body lotion ever again. This lotion smells divine and is the perfect texture for my liking: not thin, but not so thick that it takes forever to rub in and leaves you feeling oily. OUAI is great because they have such a versatile range of products, from body to hair, with options for many different skin and hair types. So even if you are an avid lotion hater like me, you will surely love this one.

Tip: Put this on directly after getting out of the shower, once you’ve dried off, and apply it EVERYWHERE!

  1. Rare Beauty Perfume

I am very picky when it comes to perfume because I don’t like floral scents, and I don’t like anything too sweet or musky—I said, picky. The Rare Beauty perfume is a one-size-fits-all perfume. It appeals to everyone, no matter your scent preferences, because it is a combination of multiple scent notes into one product. Not only is the packaging cute, but you get your money’s worth because all you need is a couple of spritzes, and you are set for the entire day—seriously.

Tip: Pair this with a lotion of a similar scent, or one with no scent at all, so it doesn’t overpower the perfume!

  1. e.l.f. Eyebrow Laminating Gel

My eyebrows are very light, and gels are hard for me because they usually make the blonde ends of my eyebrows stick out, which does not look good against my pink skin. The e.l.f. Eyebrow Laminating Gel is the only eyebrow product I have ever tried that not only doesn’t make my blonde stand out, but it also doesn’t flake when it dries—so no more eyebrow dandruff. The applicator is also amazing because it has three different options: a spoolie, a hard brush, and a soft brush.

Tip: Use the spoolie to rake the product through your eyebrows, then go in with the hard brush to straighten, and finally use the soft brush to shape and finish!

  1. OUAI Wave Spray

Like I said, I love OUAI products, and this is another one of my favorites. The OUAI Wave Spray is lightweight, smells delicious, and actually works. Coming from someone with really thick, coarse, long, wavy hair, I am always on the hunt for a lightweight product that will enhance my waves without weighing them down—and this does just that. I also cannot use a diffuser on my hair after doing my wavy routine because it makes my hair too frizzy, but this also takes away some of that frizz.  Now I can actually use the diffuser that, mind you, was not cheap. At all.

Tip: Let your hair dry for a little bit after getting out of the shower, then spray a generous amount from tips to roots, scrunching in the product before either air-drying or diffusing!

At the end of the day, it is not about what beauty products you use and the brands you purchase, it is about what makes you feel confident—these products have earned a spot in my daily routine for a reason. Next time you are in need of a product restock, consider one (or all) of these products and see how they fit into your own routine. As a self-proclaimed lotion-hater and picky perfume-wearer, I promise you will not be disappointed!
