Summer is right around the corner! For many that means catching up on sleep, relaxing, and spending the hot summer days in the sun. Even though I personally enjoy doing all of these fun activities, I also enjoy attending concerts. Bands tend to tour more during the summer months since everyone can find the time to enjoy their music live. So, with these upcoming concerts it is important to be well prepared for the good and the bad.

What To Bring:

First of all, it is important to bring a small crossover purse or a small backpack. I know bringing a crossover or a small backpack might seem like a lot to handle, but I promise that it will come in handy in the long run.

Chapstick, wallet (card and cash), portable charger, femine products, and gum.

Chapstick- is always a necessity. Venues can get really dry, and from all the dancing your lips can get dry. Make sure to bring Chapstick so you stay looking hydrated!

Wallet- This is the number one most important thing that you should bring! Also, it is helpful if you bring cash and a card because most of the time merch tables at concerts only take cash. So make sure you are prepared with both.

Portable Charger- Concert days start early and end late. Make sure you bring a portable charger so you know you will have enough battery to record all of your favorite songs and take pictures. Also, if you are going to a concert by yourself make sure your phone is charged just in case an emergency happens.

Feminine Products- Just because you never know…

Gum- Gum is a helpful way to stay hydrated and it can also help control hunger during the long night.

What To Wear:

What you are wearing depends on the weather. If it’s winter, you may want to bring a warm jacket, but, if you are like me you may want to wear a short sleeve shirt underneath your jacket. Concert venues get hot, especially if you like dancing or moshing. It’s good to wear a short sleeve so you do not get too hot or sweaty. If you are going to a concert during the summer, I would recommend wearing a cute crop top and shorts. If you want to look extra stylish, you can even wear a skirt (but make sure you are wearing shorts under!) However, I do NOT recommend wearing a dress! For shoes, there is no other option except for tennis shoes. When you are in a general admission floor, your feet get stepped on numerous of times. To protect your feet always wear close toed shoes!

Here Are A Couple of Outfits I Wore During Concerts!
