This is an easy spring style for a girl in a hurry. It takes between 5-15 minutes, depending on whether or not you decide to curl your hair, and how quickly you can do it. This style is cute, sure to receive compliments, and great for warm day.

Start with brushing through your hair. This should always be your first step before attempting any hairstyle, to avoid ripping and damaging hair, and to avoid having to deal with painful knots in the middle of styling.

Twist your hair starting with a small section on the opposite side from where you usually wear a side ponytail. Add sections of hair as you go, angling the twist from the top of one ear to the bottom of your opposite ear. When you have added all you hair to the twist, secure it with a ponytail holder. A good idea is to hide the hair tie behind your ear by fastening your twist a little higher than you would a normal side ponytail.

Once your hair is twisted and tied off, you can choose to curl the ends. This helps complete the look, but is not necessary if you’re in a rush.

Now that you’re done, you’re ready to head out and enjoy your day!

Special thanks to my lovely model, Mackenzie Hiatt.
