Music always gets me in the right state of mind. Popping my headphones in and escaping into the lyrics of a good song releases me from any stress. As the seasons change, most people enjoy decorating or eating festive foods to enjoy the change in scenery. Personally, it does not feel like it is Halloween season without fall music created by a few of my favorite artists. Lyrics that make me think of fall make everything around me ten times more beautiful. Here are my top ten songs to listen to this fall, and hopefully you can really take in everything around you while listening to these lyrics.
Trust Fall- Wallows
The Wallows are actually one of my favorite alternative bands. All of their lyrics are so relatable and fun to listen to! They released this song late last month, just in time for fall!
Harvest Fair- Summer Salt
Ever since this song came out last fall I have been obsessed! The lyrics are so calming and get you in the perfect fall mood.
Pumpkin- The Regrettes
I recently started listening to The Regrettes and they are amazing! The lyrics on their new album are so vulnerable. This is the perfect song to listen to before you go on a pumpkin patch date!
Golden Hour- Kacey Musgraves
Have you even experienced a golden hour if you have not listened to this song? I 10/10 recommend blasting this song during a drive at 6 PM with the windows rolled down and with a few of your favorite people. You’re welcome.
Lover- Taylor Swift
There is nothing I love more than getting cozy in my favorite blanket and listening to this song. The lyrics are so warm and get you in the perfect fall mood!
Sweetest Life- KWAYE
This song makes you appreciate those in your life just a little more. Some of my favorite lyrics ever are in this song: “The loving is easy when you are with me.”
Are You Bored Yet?- Wallows ft. Clairo
I am FULLY aware that I already put in a song by the Wallows, but this song is timeless. The lyrics are so relatable to anyone going through a confusing relationship.
The Kind of Women- courtship.
Even though this song is not as slow-paced as the others, it still manages to get me in the greatest mood. The song is so upbeat and exciting!
Bittersweet- Greer
The lyrics in this song are so sweet and make you love love even more. This band is fairly new and I can not wait for the new music that they will soon release!
Sweater Weather- The Neighbourhood
I had to end with the song that basically invented fall music. This song is a timeless classic to listen to as soon as October 1st hits!
