As fall approaches we find ourselves scrambling to find the perfect fall fit despite the ungodly hot weather down in So Cal…
In the meantime you can gaslight yourself into feeling the fall vibes you by compiling a mini shopping list of what you need!
Here are 10 things you’re going to want in your closet this fall based on trends and longevity:
- Off-the-shoulder sweater – Best places to buy: H & M, Old Navy, and Target
- This goes with mini skirts, all denims, and fun pants
- Denim or Corduroy vests – American Eagle, Cotton On and Thrift stores
- You can wear these on their own to pair it with a basic long sleeve underneath
- Denim Midi and mini skirts – Cotton On, Forever 21, and Urban Outfitters
- Skirts are one of my favorite pieces to spice up a basic outfit idea – these go with cardigans, sweaters, and all ur fall long sleeves
- Chunky cable knit sweaters – Thrifting, H and M, Uniqlo, and Hollister
- I love one good oversized sweater that has lil chunk for the fall – this is perf with a mini skirt or any denim pant
- Flare denim and corduroy pants – Levi’s are the Best! Macy’s always has deals or even American Eagle and Target
- I love anything flare this goes with any oversized sweater or long sleeve – these pants make any outfit look like the epitome of autumn
- Brown or Black leather jacket – Cotton on, thrifting, and Zara has great options
- To stay even warmer in 80 degree So cal weather you need a long-lasting leather jacket – My favorite jacket I have got is a cute black leather jacket that I thrifted and it goes with almost everything as it can be dressed up or down
- Straight leg or wide leg trousers – Zara and H & M have a lot of good trousers
- Perfect for dressier days or nights out! They also come in handy for job interviews…
- Brown or black calf-high boots – Hard to come by a good pair, but I always find great ones at Steve Madden or Marshall’s
