If you took a look inside my bathroom and bedroom right now, you would realize I have a lot more than just four products laying around. Pre-COVID, I loved playing with makeup, buying eye shadow palettes, trying different foundations, and buying my favorite…LIPSTICK. Fast forward to our present world where all anyone ever sees is the eyes up…I have had to adjust my routine, and while I do miss wearing lipstick, I can’t deny how easy and simple my current beauty routine is and how much I have grown to truly love it. Below I share a few products that have helped me feel like my best self, whether I’m going somewhere or just hanging around in my apartment.

First Aid Ultra Repair Cream

This stuff is no joke. It does exactly what it says it does, moisturizing the heck out of your face and leaving you feeling like a glowing queen. Although I have combo skin, this stuff doesn’t make me oily at all. I use this every night and wake up with skin that looks so hydrated.

Mascara

Mascara literally takes me from “Oh god, she definitely pulled an all-nighter” to “Wow, I love her lashes!” Currently, I have been loving Maybelline Falsies Volum’ Express. The wand is huge and really brings your eyelashes alllll the way out to outer space.

Concealer

Since I haven’t used foundation in months, concealer has been my go-to. I dab a little bit under my eyes and on my forehead to brighten up my face. Well, my masked face, that is. Right now, I’m using the Wet n Wild concealer. It’s only $4 and does the trick.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

Because all lipstick does these days is stain the inside of your mask (sigh), I have resorted to applying this product. It is amazing. While it is great to use at night, I also use it as a lip balm. It keeps your lips super hydrated but also has a glossy appearance which a girl loves.

While I am looking forward to getting back to wearing a full face of glam makeup again, I really haven’t hated this simple routine. It’s easier to apply and much easier to take off at the end of the day, and I still feel good.
