Welcome back students! I hope you’re first week was amazing! The first few weeks of school are always the most fun- syllabus week, seeing all your friends, rush week, and the numerous UB events. Speaking of which, UB is taking students on a trip next week. Time to put the Christmas gift cards and money to use if you haven’t already- UB Trippin’ to Fashion Outlets in Niagara Falls, USA.
If you didn’t know, we’re lucky enough to have outlets nearby. In just 25 minutes, you can get to the mall of discounts and great deals. If you don’t have a car, worry not! UB will be taking students on February 10th at 12PM from the Student Union! The event will be from 12-4pm. Not only will you get a free ride, you will also receive a free savings pass(only free because we’re students) to several different retailers and be entered into a $50 raffle!
I love shopping but I love saving money even more. I just went to the outlets this week & let me show you what I found!
First, I went to my go to store which is Saks Off Fifth because this is the only way I can afford Saks. I scoured through their huge selection of Rebecca Minkoff bags & their shoes. I found several pairs of Tory Burch flats & boots but unfortunately, none were in my size. They were having a huge sale where their denim was marked down tremendously- Paige jeans for $40 and less! That’s a steal. If you’re a size 23 or sizes 28+, you better head out their next week!
I loved these neutral Tory Burch flats but they were waaaay too big for me sadly! I think they retail for $250 and they were on sale for $120!

After Saks, I went to Francesca’s! They have super adorable dresses for Valentines Day. Think red, lace, and flare. If you go now, buy one get oen 30% off! My favorite part about that store is all of the lil knick nacks! Additionaly 40% off sale including adorable wine glasses, jewelry, and jewelry trays.
I scored big at surprisingly, American Eagle! I found a jacket that I didn’t need but thought was so cute. The retail price was $145 with 60% off but when my boyfriend and I went up to cash out, the price rang up as $36. The sales associate thought we were so weird because Kyle and I exchanged looks and didn’t speak. For the record, that’s way more than 60% off! How cute is this jacket?! This type of jacket is trending everywhere and I have it in a camel color that I paid way more for.
Yes, it has fur all on the inside!
