With Valentine’s Day coming up right around the corner, there’s love in the air (but also some little wishlists). There are lots of love languages and lots of ways to gift-give for each! I asked a few students at Bucknell what was on their love day wish lists (while keeping it on a budget). The following gift ideas are for you. Whether it’s for Galentine’s Day or Valentine’s Day, these gifts might just win your friend or lover’s heart!

Jellycat:

Oh my goodness, by far these were at the top of the wishlists for many. In my honest opinion, Jellycats are some of the cutest stuffed plushies I’ve ever seen. From objects like hearts to foods like pizza, or even grumpy little frogs, Jellycats are a simple way to show your love.

Flowers and a Handwritten Card:

If you’re more of a sentimental person that wants to deeply show your love then this gift idea is for you. Buy a set (or two) of flowers and create your own bouquet. Then, find a beautiful card and handwrite a message to show just how much you love your significant other. Hearts will be swooning from this one!

Legos:

If you and your significant other like puzzles and creativity then this is just the right gift! There are so many lego sets that range in all different prices. One cute and simple group of sets I recently saw were the postcards. They’re 3D postcards made of legos that are budget friendly and also a fun way to create a new memory!

Chocolates:

Who doesn’t love the classic box of chocolates on Valentine’s Day? These could be ordered online or right in your local candy store. If you’re feeling adventurous, you could travel down to Market Street and go to Lewisburg’s very own Purity Candy Shop. It’s a great way to shop local and for your love.

There are so many ideas for Valentine’s Day gifts and these were just a few! Do as your heart desires and find the perfect gift for your valentine. XOXO!!!
