Summertime means natural beauty. Easily, you can get a healthy glow from soaking up the sun, or you can create waves in your hair just by swimming in the sea. However, what’s important is using the right products to keep your skin and hair healthy and smooth all summer long. I’ve created a list of some top summer beauty essentials that will make you feel and look good while enjoying summer at its-and your-finest.

FOR SKIN:

Kiss My Face Natural Mineral Sunscreen SPF 40 (Price: $12.74) – You know when you start rubbing in sunscreen and all you see is white streaks? I do, and I bet you do, too…not fun. Luckily, this sunscreen rubs in clear so you don’t have to deal with any white residue. Infused with natural minerals and Hydresia, this award-winning sunscreen takes the cake when it comes to blocking harmful UV Rays.

Lush Ocean Salt Body Scrub (Price: $21.95 for 4.2 oz.) – Rubbing this all-natural, organic scrub on your skin is like going for a dip in the ocean…and what’s better than the beach in a bottle (besides the actual thing, of course)? This scrub packs avocado and coconut to moisturize and soften skin, plus lime and vodka to prevent blemishes. Is this not the most perfect thing you’ve ever heard of?

Burt’s Bees Aloe & Linden Flower After Sun Soother (Price: $10.00) – Whether it’s a long day spent at the beach, tanning in your backyard or hiking through the woods, the sun dries your skin out. And sometimes, no matter how much SPF you use, or how many times you re-apply, a burn somehow mysteriously surfaces (trust me…been there). This awesome organic product has aloe vera and linden oil to help replenish the skin’s natural moisture. It’s like a tall glass of water for your skin…with extra ice.

L’Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Towlettes (Price: $7.99 for a pack of 6) – Not a sun-lover, but still crave a tan? Try these sunless tanning towlettes that give you a smooth, no-streak, non-orange glow. Just wipe over skin, let dry for a few minutes and you’ll be bronzed in no time!

FOR HAIR:

Fresh Soy Shampoo (Price: $26 for 10 oz.) – Summertime means fresh, and this brand not only says just that, but packs ripe fruits in their all-natural soy shampoo. Orange, grapefruit, and mango complement the natural soy and silk proteins that help strengthen and moisturize hair for long, strong, flowing locks!

Lush Jasmine & Henna Fluff Eaze ($22.95) –The only downer about summer? Humidity. It’s a total buzkill when you’re having a good hair day, and it just isn’t a good look for anyone. Need help taming your newly found ’fro? Try this amazing product that uses tons of natural ingredients (organic jojoba, almond, Brazil nut and extra virgin coconut oil, to name a few) to keep hair fresh and frizz-free.

Moroccan Oil Treatment (Price: $43…SO worth it!) – Possibly my favorite beauty product, this all-natural oil can be used as a conditioning, styling or finishing treatment for hair. Not only does it make hair smooth and shiny, it smells delicious! Even though it’s a little pricy, it’s worth the money to keep hair healthy after sunny, salt-water filled days this summer.

FOR FACE:

Aveeno Active Naturals Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer w/ SPF 30 (Price: $13.59) – I’m somewhat of a moisturizer fiend, always trying to find the perfect product to use. And finally, I think I’ve found the one (trying to contain my excitement as I type…). This all-in-one, natural, light moisturizer doesn’t feel greasy or heavy, but gives me enough moisture so my skin doesn’t feel dry. And during the summer, there’s nothing more important than using lots and lots of SPF. This moisturizer has SPF 30 to lower the risk of wrinkles and sunburn on your face…thumbs up to that!

Physicians Formula Glow-Boosting Sun Stones (Price: $14.95) – This organic beauty line is one of my favorites, and this bronzer has a permanent spot in my make-up bag. It’s slightly shimmery without being noticeable but provides color that looks like a back-from-the-beach tan. Sweep your make-up brush over these bronzer beads for the perfect non-cakey glow.
