Even though there are only a few weeks to go until Halloween, there is still plenty of time to decide on a costume! If you’re anything like me, I’m sure you usually wait until the last minute to plan, and are left with the same couple basic costume ideas. This year however, look no further! No matter what kind of costume category you’re looking for, I have you covered. Here are some great costume ideas that will leave your friends wanting to steal your look!

On the ~Creative Side~:

While cute costumes will leave you looking good, if you want to be remembered for your costume, you have to get a little creative. One great way to accomplish this is to copy some of your favorite movie or TV characters. The options are limitless in this category, from Guy Fieri, to Darla from Finding Nemo, or even Bob Ross. While not too far outside of the box, these costumes will definitely stand out and have people looking in your direction.

Looks for a Girls Night:

One of the biggest dilemmas facing female friend groups is deciding upon matching costumes. With so many different options, it can be hard to narrow down exactly what fits your friends’ personalities the most. Costumes that are on the more cuter side could include 1920’s flappers, space cowgirls, flight attendants, tennis players, or even a classic mix of angels and devils. If you really want to get creative with your girl gang, a fun group costume could be one based on the hit TV-show, Toddlers and Tiaras.

Easy-Peasy:

Even if you are really running late on time, there are so many options that are quick and easy. One of the simplest costume ideas could be “When Life Gives You Lemons” – just take a plain write t-shirt and write “life” on it, and proceed to hand out lemons to party goers. Another outfit than can be done with just a marker and a t-shirt could be “Facebook”. In order to pull off this costume, write “book” across your forehead, and draw a large F on your shirt! If drawing on your face isn’t your thing, you could even write “Error 404: Costume Not Found” on a shirt and call it a day!

Comfy and Cool:

We all know October can be a rough month weather wise for wearing very little clothing. One way to stay warm in costume would be to incorporate outfits with full-body coverage. Yourself and a group of friends could band together and recreate the Cheetah Girls with track suits and headbands, or even simpler, you could dress up as an actual cheetah with a printed onesie! If you’re in the mood for something more edgy, you could purchase a bright orange jumpsuit and be a prisoner for the night!  With these costumes, you won’t have to worry about sacrificing comfort for style!
