Thursday marks the beginning of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. We all know what that means: hot men competing in winter athletics. What a perfect way to heat up your frigid February! To make sure you know who to look out for, we’ve put together a list of some of the sexiest men on the US teams.
Shani Davis – Speed skating – age 31
Speed skater Shani Davis is not only super attractive, but he is the first Black athlete to win a gold medal in an individual sport at the Olympic Winter Games. Fun fact listed on his team USA profile? He owns a “world passport”. You can see him compete in the Men’s 5000m race at 6:30 AM (ET) on February 8th.
Steve Langton – Bobsled and skeleton – age 30
Steve Langton is the man with it all. In addition to his lengthy athletic resume, he is currently studying for his MBA at Northwestern’s Keller School of Management. Needless to say, we’re impressed with his brains and his looks. See him race in the Two-man bobsled event on February 16 at 11:15 AM (ET).
Chris Mazdzer – Luge – age 25
When he’s not competing, Chris Mazdzer enjoys rock climbing and watching Family Guy. We were sold when we found out he rode a motorcycle. See him compete in the Luge Men’s Singles Run on February 8th at 9:30 AM (ET).Â
Bode Miller – Alpine skiing – age 36
Alright, we’re totally jealous of his wife Morgan Beck. Somehow, Bode Miller finds the time in his Olympic career to start the Turtle Ridge Foundation, hold two annual fundraisers, AND play in the snow with his daughter. Did we mention he’s won 33 world cups? If you really want to see him race, you can wake up at 2 AM (ET) on February 9th.Â
Tim Burke – Biathlon – age 32
Say hello to the small town cutie Tim Burke whose perfect day consists of skiing, biking, hunting, hiking, and fly-fishing. He loves his family and his teammates and won’t turn down a plate of Mexican food. Look out him in the Men’s Individual 20 km race on February 13th at 9:00 AM (ET).Â
Team USA – Hockey – Quite the Range
When talking about an attractive team, Team USA’s 2014 Men’s Hockey Team takes the cake. There were so many lookers we didn’t know how to choose just one…However, some of our favorites include #24 Ryan Callahan, #28 Blake Wheeler, #20 Ryan Suter, and #42 David Backes. Watch their first game against Slovakia on February 13 at 7:30 AM (ET).
