You know it’s really fall once Halloween week has arrived. The excitement of buying or making the perfect costume, combined with pumpkin carving, apple picking and all other autumnal activities make for the perfect end to October. Lewisburg is currently experiencing the crispness and coolness that’s characteristic of fall weather, and there’s truly no better time than the present to break out your favorite leather boots, oversized sweaters, infinity scarves and quilted vests. Hooray! Here’s your Fashion Forecast for Halloween Week:

Monday, October 28: Mostly sunny with a high of 59 degrees. Ease into the week with a comfortable sweater and your favorite pair of jeans. Try pairing boyfriend jeans with an oversized cable-knit sweater; a printed pair of ballet flats and a solid infinity scarf for an easy, low-key look.

Tuesday, October 29: Partly cloudy with a high of 58 degrees. Stay warm on this crisp, cool day with a look that’s borrowed from the boys. Wear a comfy flannel shirt with dark skinny jeans, a wool cardigan and your favorite leather boots or ankle boots for a polished, feminine version of your boyfriend’s favorite outfit!

Wednesday, October 30: Potential rain with a high of 55 degrees. Another cold, rainy day in Lewisburg…what else is new?! But breaking out the Bean boots or Hunters doesn’t mean you have to wear sweats. Try layering a colored sweater over a chambray denim shirt and pairing with dark jeans or leggings. Add a printed scarf and lots of bracelets for a chic and comfy rainy day look!

Thursday, October 31: Cloudy with a high of 57. Happy Halloween! Want to get in the spirit before the trick-or-treating…er…the fun begins? Pair an orange sweater with skinny jeans and black flats or black boots, or accessorize with an orange vest, scarf or t-shirt. A chic take on traditional Halloween colors will help you fully embrace the holiday and carry that spirit into the evening!

Friday, November 1: Chance of showers with a high of 58. After a fun Halloween, we welcome November with yet again another gray, rainy day…ugh. But don’t let the rain dampen your Friday mood; relax a little in a pair of faded jeans, a printed sweater and casual sneakers like Converse, Vans or Supergas. It’s a look that’s simple, relaxed, and perfect for an easy day.

I hope you all enjoy a fun, festive week filled with candy, costumes and more candy. Relive your childhood glory days and fully embrace the spirit of Halloween; express yourself without a care in the world! Need costume ideas?
