Questions We Have for Stranger Things Season 2

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BU chapter.

Stranger Things was the highlight of Summer 2016. We have waited over a year for its return. Did you see the initial trailer with Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” in the background? Of course you did. Fall gets better with the return of everyone’s favorite 80s phenomenon. Here are some thoughts and questions we’ve been left with at the end of last season and the trailers that have been released so far.

Will

We all witnessed Will cough up that slug thing at the end of Season 1, and from the released trailer, we know that Will will be affected by being in the Upside-Down for a significant period of time. Things are not looking too promising for the youngest Byer.

Eleven

Our favorite Eggo-eating-badass sacrificed herself to protect the rest of the gang at the end of Season 1. We know Eleven is alive and well from the released footage but was somehow transported into the Upside-Down. How will she get out and be reunited with the squad?

Love Triangle?

Everything seems happy-go-lucky in Nancy-and-Steve land but I don’t imagine this lasting for too long. Johnathan and Nancy have undeniable chemistry (we know because the actors are dating in real life), so this could be something to watch for in the upcoming season.

Spider Monster?

…And we all thought the Demigorgon was scary in Season 1. Have you seen that spider thing in the trailer? That looks TERRIFYING. We know Eleven is pretty powerful but that looked awfully intense. How will Hopper, Joyce, and the kids take care of that?

The Squad

One of the trailers showed a young girl joining Mike, Lucas, and Dustin’s squad, and I have a feeling that this will be an excellent addition. She’ll probably be a badass just like Eleven.

Season 2 of Stranger Things premiered on Netflix on October 27th, 2017 — go check it out!
