I’m one of those people who is always out of the loop when it comes to makeup and beauty trends. I’m usually late to them, or just never hear about it. I like to keep things simple and discover products on my own time. Here are my most recent favorites!

1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo

No matter what makeup routine I decide to do, I always start with my eyebrows. Even if I don’t wear makeup, I love to fill in my brows—it’s such a simple way to feel put together. This powder is unmatched. It lasts so long and the quality is incredible. Plus, it has two shades in it so you can mix to find the perfect shade for you.

2. Benefit Eyebrow Brush & Spoolie

This brush is my go-to for applying brow powder. The spool and angled brush are stiff enough to create shape and let you control what you’re doing, but also be gentle on your skin. I can fill in my eyebrows in minutes because it’s just so easy to apply powder. The brush almost does your eyebrows for you.

3. Glossier Rose Balm Dotcom

Chapstick is my salvation so when I found this Glossier lip salve that smells like roses, I was very intrigued. It’s moisturizing like chapstick but creates the perfect amount of light pink shine like lip gloss. Plus, the packaging is so cute and simple that I can’t help constantly pulling this out of my bag and applying.

4. Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment

“Hollywood’s 3-minute facial”, as this scrub is advertised,  lives up to its name. It’s green in color, which shocked me at first, but it has a nice earthy smell and a gentle exfoliator that gets the job done. It helps me feel refreshed, especially since you’re supposed to leave it on for a couple of minutes after you exfoliate. It’s basically a mini face mask when you need one but just don’t have the time!

4. Clean and Clear Night Relaxing Clay Detox Mask

I live for face masks. If I have a bad day, I go back to my room and automatically pull out the masks. That being said, I loved everything about this mask that I recently found at target. I’ve used Clean and Clear for years and relied on it when I had troublesome skin in high school. This face mask goes on smooth and is the perfect clay mask that gets the job done.

Now that we’re approaching winter and dry indoor atmosphere, try out these new products and do something good for your skin. There’s something for every day and especially for those days you just need a little more of a pick me up.
