I Tried Zaful Bikinis and Here’s What I Thought

This January I’m ditching Boston for a tropical vacation, so what better reason to buy new bathing suits? I really wanted to get a lot of fun, different color bikinis for my trip. I went to Zaful because I’ve seen pictures of the bikinis they sell online and they look SO cute. The real question is: are they as good as they look?

I ordered some different styles, but I stuck to one rule of thumb: I didn’t order anything with clasps because past horror stories with Amazon bikinis have taught me that’s not such a great idea. I ordered four different styles that could all be stretched overhead to put on.

I have to say, I’m really impressed. I love them, for the most part. Personally, I think the size is mostly true to what it’s supposed to be. I’m usually a medium and I ordered all mediums and had no issues!

But — and I cannot stress this enough — READ REVIEWS! If too many reviews said a suit was see-through, or not stretchy I wouldn’t order it.

A big complaint I’ve head about Zaful is that the shipping takes a really long time. I ordered two separate times and the first one took about three weeks. That being said, my second one only took a week and a half. The biggest takeaway is that it’s just very unpredictable, so you have to plan ahead. And get the shipping insurance, just in case.

I also ordered one bikini that had a lined texture on the front, and it’s a little weird in person. The pictures are for sure over-embellished, but just be prepared for that. And keep in mind, you can’t return anything, so don’t spend your whole paycheck in one sitting.

Zaful is not for everyone, but it’s definitely worth a shot if you’re an easy-going shopper! Give it a shot, you never know—you might end up loving it.
