I’ll just say it, I love spring. The first signs of sunshine after winter have got to be the best feeling ever. On top of that, the flowers, warmth, birds chirping, and longer days just make everything better. I always make seasonal Spotify playlists for every season, and this year is no different. Here are five albums that make every spring playlist better.

“Heartbreak Weather” by Niall Horan

This is a great album. There are catchy and fun pop songs, but there are also slower, more emotional ballads. Niall’s voice is so beautiful, and there are just no skips on this album. My favorites on this one are “Heartbreak Weather” (the title track) and “Still.”

“1989” by Taylor Swift

I think that Taylor’s songwriting abilities speak for themselves. This album is fresh, uplifting, and so spring. It will make you get up and dance, and put you in the best mood. I honestly believe it is one of the best modern pop albums ever made. It also won a Grammy for Album of the Year! My favorite songs from 1989 are “Clean” and “Out of the Woods.”

“Spring EP” by Wallows

This one is easy– it’s in the title! I love this EP because it has great rock/alternative songs and a slower indie vibe. This was the band’s first EP and it is perfect for the season. My favorite songs on this album are “It’s Only Right” and “Let the Sun In.”

“Flower Boy” by Tyler, the Creator

This album is so fun. It is a hip-hop album, but it definitely blends genres and has something for everyone. It has great lyrics and songs for all spring moods. The field of sunflowers is also one of my favorite album covers of all time. My favorite songs are “See You Again” and “Boredom.”

“Bloom” by Troye Sivan

To me, this album is about new beginnings and hope, the very essence of spring. It’s very short and easily digestible, and I would highly recommend it! My favorite songs on it are “Lucky Strike” and “The Good Side.”

I hope that these albums can inspire your playlists!
